Stomach wouldn't let me:

I wanted to wave
but my stomach wouldn't
let me.

I want to say hi and
talk for awhile
but
my stomachs got butterflies,
and my legs just melt away.

I knew you wanted to come
and get next to me,
but your head, your pride
wouldn't let you!

So I'll sit far away
pay no attention to me
pay no more attention to me
cause my stomach
wont let me speak with you.
