Slip further
Into the rug,
let me journey
through the window,
Cast a line into the sea,
fly away to space,
Keep my skin from melting,
Wonder what’s going on in my head,
the toy chest.
I open another door,
the only one with out a lock,
I spot various old photo’s,
from when I was just a fish,
and one where I used to eat off the floor.
I’m chained to the anchor,
I could not go, Could not move,
so I went further down
the slide,
Thinking there was an end.
I free fall,
chanting...
“I freed my spirt, now let me free!”
Walking naked down a sidewalk,
Seeing the many open eye’s,
to many staring beading eye’s,
not enough action, “which way is north?”
